–Sut Jhally, Executive Director of the Media Education Foundation, producer of Hijacking Catastrophe, joins us in studio to discuss how 9/11 was used to justify military action in Iraq, the Patriot Act, and how it fed the military industrial complex, as well as his thoughts on all 9/11 critiques often being wrapped into conspiracy theories, and whether it is worthwhile to consider the various conspiracy theories related to 9/11.
–Former Congressman Bob Ney (R-OH), who oversaw Capitol security on 9/11 and was in Washington DC, joins us to talk about what happened on that day, the decisions he was involved in with regard to security and the House of Representatives, and his often-surprising views about how the Bush Administration lied regarding intelligence after 9/11 to get the US into Iraq.
–Former US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski joins us to give firsthand insight into the deliberate misinformation propaganda campaign surrounding 9/11 and the war in Iraq that was used, often led by former Vice President Dick Cheney’s office, to influence public opinion regarding the Iraq War.
